Making Room For the New...

This weekend Dave & I began to make room for the baby. Unfortunately the major drawback to our house is the lack of storage space, so we figured out some ways to make room for us, our belongings, the baby, & baby items we'll soon need. Good thing I've been watching so much HGTV over the past couple of years, it has really helped me with my organizational skills and finding creative ways to store all our things. Today I began by cleaning out our bedroom while Dave started cleaning out the room that will become the nursery. I wanted to get a jump start on the project before I become too uncomfortable and while my energy level is good. I also thought it would be easier on us, so once we find out what we're having (boy/girl) we can begin the fun part - painting, buying furniture, and decorating the room our new arrival!

While cleaning out the "green room" (as we call our spare bedroom) it was fun looking at old pictures from my college days at EKU. I began remembering all the fun times I had. Parties at 13 Healthcliff Dr. (my old apartment w/ Jenn), Saturday/Sunday afternoon comfort lunches at Casa Cafe, my AOPi girls, "LONG" talks with the Davis sisters, watching unlimited Lifetime movies, Telford Hall & of course T-bombs!!! There is so much I miss about good ol' Richmond, KY but I now realize how much I've grown since. My life is different and I can honestly say I feel complete. I have an awesome husband who supports and loves me unconditionally and a precious baby on the the way. I feel so blessed!
