Recently I've been feeling my clothes getting tighter and/or not being able to fit into them. I'm shocked at how fast my body is changing, and realize I'm officially a Mommy on the grow! Seeing my belly grow is such a cool experience, and as much as I love being pregnant it's a bit sad that I have to hang up all my "regular" clothes (not knowing if I'll be back in them one day). Thankfully this transition has been easier due to my sister. She's been great at telling me which stores I can get the best maternity deals at and even works with a friend (who just had twins girls) that has offered to loan me all of her maternity clothes until our baby is born. I'm so grateful to her! This will make life more comfy and one less thing for us to buy.
Along with my clothes, my shoes have changed. (I don't think I even need to write this, but let me preface this paragraph by saying...) Everyone who knows me, knows I'm the type of girl who loves wearing stilettos!!! Shocker, I know - LOL. I bought my first pair in '01 and haven't wanted to take them off since. I love everything about them - the height, the look & the feeling I have when wearing them. Needless to say, if I could wear them everyday I would. I learned at an early age "when you look good, you feel good" and my heels do just that for me. I know for some of you this may not be a monumental event, however this is BIG time for me. "Here comes the kicker" (quote by DP - LOL!), last week I bought my first pair of wedge heels AND a pair of flats! Granted the flats make me feel like I'm 4'2", but they're comfy and comfort is what I'm going for these days.

Get used to flats. I wore the ugliest shoes while I was major pregnant..the reason being...cute flats are hard to find and when you are pregnant you really don't feel like shopping at 1000 stores to find cute shoes...so I just bought the first thing I saw. FYI- my feet grew while I was pregnant. I'm still a shoe size larger than before. Also, be prepared for other weird things. My hair and nails stopped growing while pregnant. My hair literally came to a halt...and since I had her it has grown a lot. Weird?!
