This week our baby will receive a protective substance called “vernix”. If you’ve ever wondered what the white/greasy stuff was called on a newborn baby – that’s it! It’s created to protect our baby’s sensitive skin from the amniotic fluid. Without it, our baby would look like a 400 year old wrinkled woman at birth - LOL!
Sunday Dave & I celebrated our 7 year anniversary of the day we met. In honor of, we went back to the place where we first met… the Alterfest! It was fun seeing old friends and playing blackjack with my family. Good times!
Yesterday marked another memorable event…I bought my first (and hopefully only) pair of maternity jeans! Thankfully the Gap outlet made the process less dreadful. Originally when I looked for a pair at the regular Gap I about died b/c they were $80! I’m not trying to sound like el cheap-o, but who in the world wants to spend $80 for a pair of ugly elastic pants they’ll never wear after being pregnant?! Not me! Thanks to the Gap outlet I found a pair for $1.99…what a steal!!! :)

Hanging out at the Alterfest - 19 weeks.
