"How Far Along Are You?"

Today while shopping in the kids section at TJ Maxx for children's books I FINALLY got asked the question: "How far along are you?"

I know this might seem strange, but deep down I got so excited (mainly b/c no one has been able to tell I'm pregnant except for close friends/family who we've told). Instantly I replied, 20 weeks! I then proceeded to inform this complete stranger that I find out find out the gender of our baby on Thursday morning. I know I've never been shy, but I certainly didn't take myself for the kind of person who'd tell someone their life story at first glance. Oh well, I'm an excited soon-to-be Mom. I'm also a person just trying to stay sane and busy for the next two days. I know it's never good to waste your life away, but I'm dying for the moment I get to see our child for the first time!

Thursday Dave & I are taking a vacation day. After our appointment we're spending some "QT" with each other to enjoy and process what we'll get to see/hear at our Dr's appointment. We plan to get some lunch and do a little baby shopping! In the evening we're meeting our parents (the Parker's, Frantz's & Schindler's) + the Bales family at El Toro (our favorite Mexican restaurant), to share the gender news.
