Today my teammates at work threw a baby shower for me. For lunch we went to one of my favorite restaurants, Bravo. I love, love, love, love, love their salmon salad! So guess what I had for lunch?! LOL. My team surprised me by inviting Dave to attend. It was nice having him there. Jessica & Mica planned a fun game to play. We had to guess what the top baby names were in 1979, the year I was born and 1978, the year I was born. Although, I didn't win I did significantly better than I did on Sunday (@ Jessica's shower). My teammates were SO generous! They bought us our car seat base, mirror, seat cover & sun shades. Payton is now set for the car!
A few additional friends/co-workers decided to forgo chipping in on the group gift and ventured out on their own. Let's just say they hooked Payton up in the clothes department. No lie, I think Payton now has more clothes than me. Shocker, I know!
Special thanks to Jessica & Mica for coordinating the shower. Also, thank you to Vickie for the awesome homemade butter cream icing/chocolate cake...it was delicious!
