Cupcakes - vanilla frosting w/ strawberry cake
Today one of my best friends, Jessica Steiner hosted a baby shower for me. The shower was a great time! For lunch Jess made vegetable skewers, Caesar salad in phyllo cups, chicken salad sandwiches, shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs, cheese ball & a veggie tray. Everything was delicious!
After lunch we played "Pregnancy Trivia" with a twist. Instead of us guessing the correct answers, we guessed what Dave thought the answers would be (Jess had Dave take the test days earlier). Let's just say it put a whole new spin on things - LOL! Shockingly, there was a three way tie between my sister Stacey & step-Mom, Tanya & Jessica's Mom, Chery for first place! Out of 16 questions, I only guessed 8 right! Oh well....it was fun!
Jessica definitely put a lot of thought into all the details. I about died when I found out she made just about everything from scratch (including personalized water bottles, brown/pink candy wrappers, & flower pen party favors). Jessica's new nickname is "junior Martha" after her idol Martha Stewart (and rightfully so)! She definitely deserves the title...haha!
Thank you to everyone for attending. I had a great time & it meant a lot you all could make it. Also, a very special thank you to Jess for hosting such a great shower...you're the best!!!

Awwww... "junior Martha" - I love it except I think you're giving me too much credit!!! :) I had so much fun at the shower and I am glad that you did too!
I am still sick but hoping to get better soon! The doctor has me on prescription medication in hope of regulating my system and keeping the naseua away. It's been tough! How are you feeling? My cute jeans came from Elder Beerman by Kroger in Centerville! They are really sylish and cute!!
