Running Around Like a Mad Woman...

Today was a crazy busy day - I'm exhausted. Not only was today election day, but this morning I had my 7 month check-up that included a glucose test. I should have my test results back sometime before Friday. I'm praying I don't have gestational diabetes. That would definitely suck! Thankfully Dr. Horlacher said everything is going great with Payton & I. Her heart beat is normal and he said as long I'm still feeling great he has no concerns. In today's appt. Dr. Horlacher lightly pressed around on my stomach and said he felt her head. I was like: "No way, I want to feel it!" He placed my hands right on it...I could feel something hard/round. It was SO cool! I asked Dave if he wanted to feel it. Originally he was a little hesitant (b/c he thought it could hurt Payton), but eventually he got to feel it too!

After work I completed my civic duty and voted. Luckily I only had to stand in line for about five minutes. I got in and out of there quickly. Good thing because I had plans tonight.

Jon Smallwood (aka - Woody) is in Dayton tonight from LA. I cooked dinner for the for Dave, Woody & I. I made the guys and myself a nice home cooked meal...lasagna, rolls & chocolate chip cookies! I even pre-called Woody a couple of weeks ago so he could decide what we had for dinner (since I know he doesn't get many home cooked meals living in LA). It was great catching up with him. He's a great guy and always makes me laugh. I miss all our friends that live far away from us and wish we could see everyone more often, but that's life I guess! After dinner Dave & Woody went to do what they love to do best when they're around each other...BOWL! They love bowling for money and acting like they're in the PBA - LOL! Well I'm pooped and off to bed - g'night!
