This dunk has only been performed by two people...ever...in history....Me while playing for Team Hung (2001, UD Intramurals) and Chris Wright on Saturday against Marquette...
Payton experienced her first of many University of Dayton Flyer victories against ranked opponents on Saturday night when UD treated Marquette like their red-headed step children and waxed them by 14 points. The game was never really close as Chris Wright flew out of gravity's reach several times and the Flyers proved that they are legitimate Final Four contenders in 2008-2009. The Xavier Musketeers were reportedly urinating down their legs while witnessing the Flyer domination. I mentioned to Natalie that Xavier was probably watching this game and Payton flipped the "bird" against the inside of Natalie's belly immediately upon hearing the "X" word. That's my girl.
Anyway, as I was saying...I feel bad for any team who has the misfortune of playing against the Flyers this year. Last night Troy was the victim. Dayton took it easy on Troy last night and decided to only beat them by 17 points. The referees all bet against Dayton, taking Troy and 20 points. They managed to control the game enough to win their bet...although on a couple of the bullsh!t fouls they called last night against us, I heard Payton shout her first cus words from the womb in disbelief and disagreement. She's already a good fan and she has a very good understanding of the game of basketball.
That's my girl....and that's why her name rhymes with Dayton (it's Dayton with a "P" instead of the "D"...notice how we didn't name her Peastern Pentucky...I run the show in this house!!!)
Go Flyers.

Ok. SO, Nat i love reading your blog, however, Dave's entry was the best yet I think. I will also interject by saying: by living 2 feet from you for a couple years, I KNOW you run the show, just for the record :) Sorry Dave. lol.
