Dave & I have been working hard over the past week preparing for Payton to come home. We can't wait!!! Depending on my next Dr's appointment on Monday, Jan. 5 and the amniocentesis I'm having on Monday, Jan. 12 Payton could come home about 2.5 weeks early. Everything is ok with Payton & I, however Dr. Horlacher recommended possibly inducing me due to the strain she's taking on my body. I'm constantly fighting gravity, sick to my stomach and having contractions here and there. According to Dr. Horlacher I should have stopped working about a week ago to take it easy, but I feel the need to wrap up some necessary tasks and completely train my back up while I'm out on maternity leave. What can I say, I'm a loyal LN employee! :)
Last weekend Dave & I (along with my Mom & step-dad) completed Payton's nursery. It's nice having her room done...now all we need is her! Tomorrow my sister Stacey, Ryan & Ross are coming over to help us install the car seat bases in each of our cars and assemble Payton's stroller. It's amazing how official and real things seem as we complete our last agenda items.
